DBMA Martial Arts Forum / Martial Arts Topics / Known Internet Explorer Bug When Posting
|
on: April 02, 2011, 05:05:33 PM
|
It has been brought to my attention that some of you are having trouble posting long text posts. You are typing in the text window and the cursor is jumping back to the top of the window. This is a known Internet Explorer bug. There are two options for dealing with this problem. 1. Use a different browser when surfing and posting on the forum. Firefox - Safari - Chrome 2. Click the compatibility icon at the top of your browser and it should fix the problem. **See the graphic posted above for the location of the compatibility icon.

Dog Brothers Information / Instructor Lists / DBMAA Instructors
|
on: September 01, 2009, 02:50:06 PM

In DBMA terminology we distinguish "Guro/teacher" and "Instructor". A Guro is a member of the Dog Brother tribe and an Instructor is not. To help ensure our standards, all teaching credentials are revokable and must be maintained. Hello Ponytotts,
I sent you an email addressing this issue. I checked your public forum account and it wasn't active. I've re-activated it. Let me know if you have any further trouble with your account.
FYI, I would suggest composing your message in notepad or some other text editor if you need 60 - 90 minutes to compose. This will eliminate any risk of losing your data. I've had it happen to myself as well.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
All the best.

DBMA Martial Arts Forum / Martial Arts Topics / November Gathering Of The Pack

That email is inspiring.
It is this type of mentality that breeds success. Stories like that keep me going when I doubt myself, or feel outmatched in martial arts, business, creative work, etc.
The idea of doing your best, no matter what, and letting the chips fall where they may frees up a reservoir of mental energy and calm focus that lets you do things that you may have never thought possible.
Thanks for sharing that email Guro Crafty.

DBMA Martial Arts Forum / Martial Arts Topics / Greg Nelson Update
|
on: June 04, 2003, 06:54:33 AM
|
Hello All, I spoke to Greg Nelson last night. He sounds great and is teaching JKD twice a week!! This is amazing. Many of us wrote him off 4 months ago. For those of you who don't know, he has been fighting cancer for quite some time now. The cancer that was attacking his liver has gone into remission. Greg is now walking with a cane and is still battling this disease. This man is truly inspiring. Here is his website: http://www.mmaacombatzone.com/
