Here is a bit that i found intresting about randy's dominate fight this past weekend

"What’s happening in the world of mixed martial arts now …

By Loretta Hunt (loretta@thefightnetwork.com) and Brian Knapp

COUTURE BREAKS ARM

Even Superman feels it from time to time.

"Following yet another feather-in-his-cap performance Saturday at UFC 74 in Las Vegas, real life superhero Randy Couture (16-8), was informed Sunday by doctors that he’d broken his arm during his third round TKO stoppage of Gabriel Gonzaga (8-2).

Couture, 44, sustained the injury Saturday blocking a Gonzaga right high kick with his left forearm, cleanly separating the ulna bone with a “nightstick fracture,” a break common in law enforcement circles. The injury placed the UFC heavyweight champion’s arm in a splint for six weeks. The appendage will not need a cast.

“It’s not displaced, so the doctors think it will reattach in about a week and a half,” said Couture, who embarks on a South African adventure to shoot a leading role in major motion picture “The Scorpion King – The Akkadian” in nearly six weeks. It is believed the injury will not effect Couture’s shooting schedule.

To watch Couture's reaction of his bout and for a re-cap of all the fights, check out The Fight Network's original series "After The Bell" in the homepage's video player."

I am all in for the wall. I like the idea of having at least one wall to work with. It provides a little more motivation to have proper enviromental awareness.

The way I was thinking was that the fight would keep right on going. I won't rule out a knife in the pocket.

It would be a 6ft bull whip. I have fought once before whip vs whip with 4ft whips and it was a learning experiance thats for sure.

Now that I can get to the internet for the evening. I'll just reiterate what guro crafty said earlier. I want to see if anyone would be intrested in fighting against a whip.

Im not sure if this is the right thread for this, if it isn't feel free to move it Guro.

Another kali-tudo technique that I have gotten to work on the street while working. The running dog.

While working opening day last tuesday we came to the end of the day (5 min from asking eveyone to leave, 5 min past last call.) And a pair of large guys both 6'5" or so and in what looked to be good shape. Decided that it was the right time to start acting up.  I'll spare the details of the next ten min or so and just move right along to the end. Things end up getting physical. The bigger of the two is being restrained by the three othe guys on shift with me. Leaveing the second one to me. I push him through the door out side. This one had pegged me as the only threat to him from the get go (this was a first for me. they usually miss that and focus on someone else.) and we get outside and he grabs my wrists. nothing else just my wrists. I pull my hands down and start going for a double leg, and he does something else thats a first, pulls guard. I imediatly take him as a more serious threat, usually i deal with drunks with no idea of what to do when i put them the the pavement.  I stack him up and execute a running dog. I turn imedately back to him and get knee on kidney until security from the other club come down.
