Don't laugh but I am looking for a group in ..... Boca Raton, FL.  I will be moving there by year's end.

"Eat well so that you defecate well"  - I heard that one from Crafty and use it against my kids all the time.

I agree that there wasn't a lot of chatter which surprised me.  I studiously avoided it this year to keep my anxiety level down.  Maybe others did the same.  Plus, after fretting about it for nearly a year, by the time chattering season started, I was so tired of thinking about the Gathering.

So the person who claims not be sexist and really likes women thinks that stay at home mothers should just shut up about money and world matters; leave the "big" thinking to men or women who got paid for work (because they are more valuable than mere housewives).  Ironically, the men who defended the guy who wanted an at home wife are the ones who actually value the work of the women and don't intimate that they are second class citizens because motherhood doesn't receive a paycheck.

BTW, parenthood is rewarding because of the challenges.  Parenting > golfing.  One is sacrifice, the other is indulgence.

Was this the one that Ross Masoke participated in?

"cutting edge techniques"  - I like that one.  Florian really can give Ben Stiller a run for his money.

Too bad you aren't just a smidge closer.   Very tempting.

I had trained 1 full year with the famed NoHo Clan before attempting to fight. Much was needed to learn regarding the weapon and how to use it, along with the footwork necessary in the full adrenal state. As, I WATCHED my first Gathering, which was a Tribal, I was amazed, and frightened at the same time. I had pushed Pappy Dog to let me fight in the Tribal, but after consulting with Crafty Dog, they thought it best that I attended an Open Gathering before stepping forward with the Dog Brothers. This was a wise decision, as I grew so much in the coming month in regards to skill.

Sooooo....if YOU needed a full year before being ready for the Gathering, I might have to wait until I am hundred years old before I would be ready.   rolleyes
