Grateful for a great 2 weeks of vacation in Arizona with my 7 year old daughter, fishing, swimming shopping and just hanging out. Toping it all off with a trip to Catalina island tomorrow. Life is sweet! :-)  also: Congrats to Guide Dog!

Guro C: Thank you for posing that. Oliver Stone has some films that really work for me ("JFK", "Any Given Sunday", "Natural Born Killers") and some films that don't work as well for me ("U-turn", "W."), but that man has a very unique style, and usually his movies are something to talk about, even if they don't work for you. I happen to love AGS. I think the whole film is interesting, and that's a pretty darn good cast!

Howie, and Tom: Thank you both for the kind words! Much appreciated.

Grateful for a nice evening spent swimming with family.

My voice is pretty much gone from teaching last week, and a little family cold that keeps lingering. I'm at work today, letting my students read and make progress on their own. I'm grateful for a day that can be productive, but a little more quiet than usual.

Gratful for the people that brought needful things to me over the last few days.  I am loading my truck with items that have been donated and a friend of mine is loading a shipping container at SF Bay to be shipped to American Samoa Tsunami victims.  She is flying home to help her family and making sure the container makes it to all the people within her ability to help.  Im driving to SF Saturday afternoon and I am also gratful for the kind offering of a place to rest my head before driving back home Sunday.

Gratful for my 3 terrific kids...  and the words than come from mouths of children  I feel truely blessed for having such great kids!

For surviving my tour in Iraq and knowing that every day since is truely a gift not to be taken for granted.

Remember to make the best of every day for these are some of the Warriors that lay in my care during my deployment in 2005.
Some days hit me harder than others...  (thanks for giving me the opportunity to express myself on this forum).

LCpl Crumpler is one of those faces that I go to sleep with everynight.  The Marine placing the helmet on the rifle is Sgt Roth (A Marine that has become not only a Brother in Arms but also one of my Kajukenbo Black Belts).  Sgt Roth continues to teach Kajukenbo to Marine Special Operations Command in Jacksonville, NC.

At 3:42 on the far right of the screen front row with black utility belt over top of the blouse is me. "Doc" Webster

Grateful that oldest sonfinished rehab andl "wants" to be in a long term program. First time I've seen him "want" to get help... for those who have been around  such unpleasantries as drug addiction, "wanting" help is where it starts. His jury is WAY still out but it's a start.

Gratful for receiving some much needed gear for the classes I teach at Naval Air Station Lemoore.

Gratful for being granted an opportunity to start a Sunday DBTG out of my teachers school in Visalia.  Starts the 1st Sunday in Jan. 2010.

Announced this last night to the students in class at Kajupit MMA and received many possitive responses.

Please note:  If anyone from the forum here is ever in the Central Valley area, you are always welcome to come train with the Kajupit and Kajudog family free of any charge.  We would love to share with you and hopefully have you share with us.

With respect always,

Grateful for...having an off day, feeling a little negative, and I was tempted to write, "I'm not grateful for sh&%", and that's not true.

Yesterday, my father had some cells scraped out of his bladder, and there had been worry he was going to lose a kidney. The kidney looks great and will stay, and while we wait to hear about the nature of the cells, the doctor said everything looked better than expected, and is already mostly sure it's not cancer. I'm grateful for that.
