Im thankfull for my two new students that started training last night. A female Marine (Sarah) and another enlisted Navy man named Herb. I was impressed with their conditioning and heart. Both have prior training in various systems (Krav, MCMAP, Muay Thai, Boxing, Grappling). Sarah showed interest in stick and knife fighting. She fought knife vs knife with Jeremy, a student of mine that fought at the last Gathering in LA. Goodtimes, TAC

I am grateful that the southern California wild fires did not consume my home. The community just south of us had to evacuate, and my wife and I cleared out one of our cars and started making piles...scary.

Pleased with a full day of sharing. I visited one of our new Kajupit locations in Fresno today and enjoyed teaching a variety of students from all walks of life. Then I was treated to a great luncheon in Chinatown.

Grateful the fires did not take our home, the rains did not wash us away, and the many dear friends who sent us their best wishes.
Grateful for the amazing martial arts community that nourishes my spirit, body, and mind.
Grateful for family, especially Mom, who comes to visit today.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Today I am grateful for the help I've recieved from my senior student Ozzie. He meets me at the park before class to work on our conditioning despite the fact that I need it more than him. Nothing quite like a 150 lb, sinewy, fast as greased lighting, never tiring, younger than you by 10 years , super enthusiastic training partner to keep you motivated. Really I am grateful for my whole training group each which gives me so much in their own unique ways. Tony Torre Miami Arnis Group www.miamiarnisgroup.com

I am thankfull for the opportunity to help out a fellow shipmate over the next couple weeks. Regretfully that means that I will be out of touch with the forum for a short while but will do my best to check in as opportunities may arise. Im also grateful for the my fellow Brits that are comming to the April Gathering and look forward to buying them a few pints. Cheers! C-KD (A Brummy in Yanks clothing)

Grateful for my training partners who always push me to go the extra set and explore each opportunity in combat.
My children who keep me young.

I'm grateful to have the oppertunity to work with Youth in our Youth Martial Arts program at my gym. We graduated thirty students tonight to their next belt including one black belt and one assistant instructor! Nothing gives me more joy than to see the smiles on their faces when they put on their new belts!

Grateful for the constant brainstorming and sharing that goes on here. I made myself a "Frustrator" last night and had a blast. My daughter even gave it a go and it was great to hear her laugh in frustration every time she got smacked. Grateful for my daughters constant nagging to train more with me and her desire to show me that she remembers and practices the things I have shared with her thus far. Ahhh, to be young and hungry. Share the Blessings...
