Grateful to be alive today and that me and my family are now home safe in our house!

Living in Costa Rica has been an adventure to be sure both good and bad! Today I had an Uzi pointed at me and my family. Granted, it was in the hands of the good guys but in between them and me, my wife and 16 month old boy were three known violent criminals. If just one of them had made a move... Talk about puckered up.

It's been awhile since I've had a gun pointed at me.  :|

So, to say that I am grateful is an understatement.

Be safe guys!

Turning now to the reason I came to this thread today, I am grateful for some inspiration DVDs which are reminding me of some things I used to know.

And a prayer for a friend who has made a big mistake , , ,

Gratful for a conversation this morning that led me to understand that there is a 2 time Felon Bull Dog Gang member living only 2 blocks over.  Explains why my dog barks at 2am sometimes.

Also gratful for phones, so that my kids can call thier freinds over to play instead of having to pass this dirtbags house.
