My wife has set our TV to record the 1950s show "I love Lucy".  We watched two episodes last night with our children.  I am grateful for their laughter and for the family values of the show.

Is grateful that some of my employees seek their own enlightenment, not what I think, but seek their own truth. I love it when that happens.
I steer them to Miyomoto Mushashi's "Way of Walking Alone," and let them determine for themselves their own course of action. It is nice to see the "lights come on."

Thank you, Guro.

The high school at which I teach is up for California Distinguished School recognition. Tomorrow is our validation visitation.

My dissertation defense is next Friday, which is..."surreal" is the only word that fits right now.

Gratful to be working along side my teacher and like minded Brothers again.

Gratful for no serious injuries and an entertaining crowd at the club.  I quit drinking a bit over a week ago and seeing a lot of drunks definately encourages me to leave the booze alone.

If any of my Brotheren end up in Fresno for whatever reason, visit Club Rome and say hello...  I got your back.

Where in southern Mexico?  Back in the spring of 1978 I spend three days in the prison of San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas due to a fight between four locals and a friend and me; we were defending the two girls under our protection from being dragged off and when we ran to the police station the only policeman on duty ran away when the four of them arrived.  Funny story in retrospect, but to this day I remain grateful that it ended well. cheesy
