Does anyone know of any cutlery houses that make nice

It has been suggested that katipunan era talibon, made specifically for fighting are vastly different than the later WWII and Vietnam era work oriented talibons that flood the market currently. Specifically balance, size, edge bevel, and hilt configurations are very different.
