« on: January 11, 2006, 06:47:46 PM »
There will be Stick Fights in Hawaii. On Oahu,Honolulu in late FEB.or early March.Waiting on word from Kalani aka canidate poidog. To return HOME.
Towards the end of each month. The Hawaiian Clan of the Dog Brothers.
Will host training and sparring sessions in Paki Park. Across from the Honolulu ZOO. This is a work shop class. No $$ ,yet sharing info!!!
Everybody in this group fights.Yet we have all levels.
If your not up to REAL Sticks,we have padded sticks or smak-sticks.
On the Lee-ward side of the island. We have weekly training on SAT.
In Waipio,at the Central Oahu Regional Park. Tom Perruso aka thai70@juno.com and Dogzilla train Friday afternoons in Kapolei also.
We have some friends on Maui and on the Big Island in Kona.
With future plans to have Eskrima At Ground Level Stick Fights.
One site in mind is on the Hilo side of the Big Island,in Mountain View.
Yet if your on the Islands or planning a Visit. WE could have some training and or fighting in 2006. Year of the DOG.

Bus Driver Marc Frankstein Behic aka  cand.-Beer dog. Was attack this week. By a druggy with a hypo-needle,After Marc knocked the needle from his hand. The attacker produced two knives from his sack. A steak knife and a hook- knife. Marc was able to disarm one knife. Then two Samoan's  passagers jumped in and subdude the attacker. Until the police came.Marc  has been attacked on the Bus three times since. He began studying DBMA, JKDC. All of these altercations he survived and was not
injuried.Marc is known for drinking more beer than swinging stick.
He drinks beer like water. A six pack is mandatory hydration practice.
For his stick fight preparation. A six and then sticks..

Hey Dogzilla,

Frank Shamrock mentioned you used to train with him, he had very nice things to say about you when I trained with him.  Just thought you'd like to know : ).

Training at Raw with Frank Shamrock was awesome.
Brian Porn Star Dog & If there's a "WILL" there's a Way-" Giles".
Brian told me about the class after training with . Colonel Nattapong
in Krabi-Krabong. Now "Will" was in a motorcycle accident. Spent a year and half in a wheel chair. Yet he came back and got back on the mats.
Frank is a good down to earth man. We are both from Northern California.
Where the Girls are warm. Long live the Alliance.
All three of us learned many things in that half year. Studying with Frank.
His assistant teacher Danny Daniels. Ended up with three students remaining out of dozens. After Frank went home. Brian,Will and Mike.
Those where good times. Thanks for the comment. Aloha..

We usually meet on Saturdays at Central Oahu Regional Park.  Once a month we trek down to Paki Park to get the entire group together.  We are thinking hard about moving the Paki meeting place to Tantalus.  Apparenlty Round Table or Top park in real nice.  Still need to scout the location first.
Anyway, let us know your availability and we'll try to set you up either with the town guys or if you want tohead out to Waipio for the Saturday grouop.
let me know
tom
