I own a slew of blades and am always farting around with one or another, but the two most common ones I carry these days are a Ken Onion Whilrwind and a Ryan Model 7.

Sifu Kevin told me a story about when him, Guro I. and GT Gaje were all in the car once and stopped to get gas. Guro Dan was going to pump gas and GT stopped him before he got out of the car and asked, "Danny you have a knife don't you?" Guro replied with "No." GT responded with "Well, here I carry at least three on me at all times, you can borrow one of mine!"
The gas station was in Beverly Hills
I assume there would be some fun times traveling with those two!

My 2 daily carry's(sp?) are a
CRKT Point Guard
and a
Kershaw Ken Onion Leek
.
Both are simple, easy to open and quick on the deploy...especially handy when I'm surprised by an envelope's assault and need to defend myself from wicked paper cuts.

Robertlk808,
How do you like the Wortac? I've been thinking of buying one.

SB_Mig: I really dig it, I'm not really a big knife enthusiast, I like the feel of the knife and how it fits nicely into my hand, there is little bit of punyo on the knife as well as a nice weapon as well as a nifty little "serration" on the bolster for the thumb so you could even use it as an impact weapon before having to open it up. I have had one for several years and it has held up pretty good. I used it on the car or for the car as in cutting hoses, opening boxes but nothing really heavy duty. The fix blade versions are really nice too, the weight of the knife feels really good (sorry that is kind of a lame explanation but it feels just right) and it really "flows" well at least in my opinion. Im slightly biased because I trained with Kelly Worden for about 8 -9 years while living in WA. Overall, I really do like it and not just because Kelly designed it.

I have two every day carries, one is a small fixed blade of my own design and make, and the other one is my trusty Brego, 95lbs of protection trained and tested Cane Corso. Not quite a knife, but both a deturent and a weapon.

I have recently also become a fan of the Emerson Karambit. Crafty introduced me to the wave and I thought it was really cool.

The Emerson Karambit looks sweet.
Greg: Just curious, do you have pics of your self designed blade?
I like knives to some degree, meaning I understand the importance of training with knives, I enjoy it but just not as fascinated as some of my friends and peers

I have carried a Spyderco Delica for years. I will buy a Endura Wave at some point. I think for the cost, etc,...they are hard to beat for EDC. Very functional, and originally Spyderco had Steve Gartin, a silat man, involved with them.(I believe, but could be wrong).
For the bucks, I'd go with anything by Laci Szabo here in Florida.

Or ANYTHING by Fred Perrin. His stuff rocks. Tiny knives are the wave of the future.

I carry a 5" Cold steel Voyager or a Spyderco Chinook II in my back pocket. Unless I'm in athletic shorts then they may get moved to the appendix position. I also have a Spyderco Perrin and Temperence that go appendix carry sometimes, and a ronin that goes around my neck every great once in a while.
