  1. Note that Lloyd’s Safety Protocol Vid-Lesson shows an evolution.

    Originally, and as shown by me here, the movement to the low forehand chamber kept the tip pointed perpendicularly down.

    In the evolution since then the low forehand chamber has the blade horizontal and pointed away from the body.

  2. That Mexican pullover is ideal. Do be sure not to get it too big or it will catch on your butt sometimes! I have improved mine a bit by undoing the seam on the right side partway up.

  3. For the record, the Browning knife (long out of production but still findable on used good sites) you see in the VL is no longer my EDC.

    This is now my EDC.

    Being Chinese made, it arrives with the clip on the wrong side. The screw heads are super tiny and require some sort of special tool. In my case this meant going to an old fashioned hardware store in my area with a crusty old coot in back who took care of it for me.
