Awesome class, thanks for sharing the vid P.G.Crafty. I know a lot of people like hammer grip/point up knife so this will be really helpful when training with them/teaching.
Amazing turnaround time from our webslingin’ Webmaster Bob!
Worth noting too is that sometimes it is not a matter of preference, sometimes the handle determines which grip it will be.
The curriculum here is in an early stage of development, but it feels well begun to me.
Finally got around to finishing this video. After playing around with the daywalker dive bomb a bit, I found it works great as a surprise attack. However my question to you, Guro, is are you concerned about a more skilled opponent deflecting the dive bomb? Cuz if they can, it’ll really take you off balance as you’re not connecting with anything. Possibly stumbling off course or even hitting the ground.

In answer to your question, no I’m no more concerned than I would be if I we swinging a stick and to not make contact. I’m not sure why you would be feeling your balance at risk.
Come to an online class and let’s see if we can sort it out!
One more thing, I’m picturing this as a frontal assault against a Malevolent Mongo, not a surprise/ambush attack.
