Respects for your service!
I remember Sifu/Guro Bud from my days at the Kali Academy when I arrived in LA in 1982. Not someone to mess with!
C'mon down to our DB Gathering of the Pack on June 24th in Burbank to get a feel for what your training is about :-D

I own 2 Rednoses built for power and 1 blue.
my 3 year old first rednose is daddies boy...he thinks he is a puppy still and he tops off at almost 100lbs...He is a big boy!
Hence my love for pitbulls.

Hello All-
I am new to this forum. I would just like drop a note to all of the Dog Brothers on the great job you did for my teacher, Sonny Umpad. I was very impressed by quality of the DVD. I was amazed that you were able to get anything at all out of the 8mm footage from the 70's. I have VHS copies of that footage and it has seriously deteriorated. I trained with Sonny during the 1980's along with Chris Suboreau, Henry Adams, and Renato Alfonso. I'm sure Sonny would have been very pleased at the end product as I am sure his family is. :-)

Woof Steven:
Apologies for not responding to you earlier-- with our Gathering last week and its aftermath this week, we are just starting to catch up on many things.
Anyway, your kind words mean a lot to us and put a wag in our tail.
Woof!

Yes, "Grandfathers Speak 2- Sonny Umpad" was an excellent glimpse into one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most reclusive eskrima masters. I hope that his students make the effort to preserve any footage of their late teacher and continue his art. Both Grandfathers 1 and 2 are unique compilations of the masters. Add them to your collection.
