A mournful howl:
After a long and valiant struggle with cancer, Dog Howie passed away this morning. He walked as a warrior for all his days.
"The wood is consumed, but the fire burns on."
The Adventure continues,

Wow.......That's very sad news. I remember meeting Dog Howie at the Bloomberg, IL seminar a couple years back, seemed like a really genuine decent guy. Puts things in perspective.

He was truly one of the best. Eventhough we only met for a few brief moments he left a lasting impression. Cancer is a M$#@$%^ER.
A picture from the gathering where we meet. Truthfully some of the best times of my entire life.

Howie trained hard and never backed down from a challange.
GM Harper, spent some one on one time with Dog Howie. Good memories

I was thinking of Howie this morning. As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to thank him for being part of my journey. I hope you are resting well, warrior.
