Hey,
Does anyone know of good instructors in San Diego, hopefully close to the downtown area?

I don't know SD geography, but I would give Greg and Mike a try.  They have credentials in DBMA and Pekiti Tirsia.

If you find out about someone else who teaches there don't hesitate to tell me :) I'm going there in May and I want some extensive training.

Look up Cepeda-Abueg martial arts academy.  Guro Narrie Babao is starting his own class there (it's by SDSU) on friday evenings/saturday afternoons.
