anyone train with ray copeland or know about his school in santa monica.im looking for someone to recomend a school near by sm.

  I confess to being impressed with the Insanto Academy 310-348-9944, just north of LAX airport.  The landlord is redoing the property and it appears that the IA will be moving soon.

I trained with Sifu Ray Copeland for several years when I lived in Los Angeles. He is an amazing teacher. Certified under Guru Dan and Master Sirisute, teaches at the Inosanto Academy (at least he did a little while ago), and is one of Francis Fong's seminar/demo assistants. Extremely knowledgeable, extreme competent, and extremely generous with his time and energy.

If you swing by his studio, tell him I say "Hi!".
