I have some question for all of you especially those seasoned fighter of kali.

1. Have you experience fighting a fast and power hitter left handed in Arnis? (Padded and real Stick)

2. What is the best strategy and Tactics fighting this kind of Fighter?

3. Technique, attributes and other skills need to Develop?

4. Any Drills to counter their Strikes.

This Topics can also serve those Left Handed, same info. the reason why i Asked this, My student a beginner ask me the Question since he fought in school program and beat his 3 opponent easily but when he fought a left handed Arnisador, twice they gave him a very hard time since he is not used to. Just wanna ask you ideas and hopefully share you wisdom and Knowledge here for all of us.

maybe it is a tendonitis because it is almost two weeks now but still it has a bit but tolerable pain i just asked you because the info in your country USA about the sport medicine and therapy is much more advance than in the Philippines any way we have a hilot here but good hilot now livesin the province and maybe only few here in manila to which i never see. anyway thanks guro hope you don't mind if i post your advice in our forum ( or if you could post it direclty, definitely we will thank you much) http://rapidorealismo.netfreehost.com coz i also have a friends/student that also felt the same pain while training in aikido and training with a heavier weapon ( is it the same treatment as your advice with an injury caused by a training with a heavier pipe and with the jointlocks?).

The Rapido Realismo Kali group are very proud of those successful propagator of FMA who don't forgot their roots as a and still praise their Pinoy master. Mabuhay po Kayo and to the rest of the DB group. i will keep on posting and hope you don't become tired answering.

Hi Guro,

well the bad thing about it is i never experience hurting my wrist in kali training even using a heavier weapond since i started learning it 11 years ago. but unfortunately working on an LPG plant hurt my wrist by continous turning of the Valve it never went out since i injured my wrist after an incidents while i was trying to turn the 50 kg ( the big one) and it falls out then a sudden twist of my wrist felt so much pain.

hope you can help me with this. a FMA friend of mine also hurt hist wrist by trying to use a one kilo pipe in Salag at Patama (block and Hit) and a sudden twist of his partner to disarn him cause his wrist injury.

Thanks,

Hi GURO Crafty,

Thanks for your answer, well i just wanna know because you really fight great your experience and most of your members are great fighters and i admire you all. Rapido Realismo Kali as a Bladed System also employs or used sticks either rattan and wooden training sword in some of our advance students full contact sparring. I thought that you also do some bladed works not just in Knife. although we don't do much of grappling, It's not because it doesn't exist in Blade works but it is a bit dangerous. but ocassionally we fought with real contact stick fighting to experience the difference and also compare our moves with other Arts and your system and group are the Most great foreign fighters that i've watch either in video tapes or in clips compare to other live real sticks competition that i've seen. Congrats man and we support you. if ever you or one of your students come here in the Philippines either to train, compete or do some seminars give us a call so we can help and support him here.

Thanks for raising the level of FMA in your country as well as in the whole world. can i ask your permission to put your sites in our links.

Maraming Salamat at Gumagalang,
