Martial Arts Topics / diry streetfighting

dear sir,

my name is amando and i am a self defense student living in belgium.  i practise bjj (both sport and mma).  i permitted myself to send you this thread on the forum in the hope to receive an answer regarding dirty streetfighting .  things like eyegouging, groinstrikes, bites, etc .... surely must be incorporated for anyone who wants to prepare himself for the street, but few gyms practise it.  i would llike to know, how do you guys at the dogbrothers prepare your students to defend themselfs against such attacks ?
i think that mma is a solid base for self defense, but adding foul tactics, weapons and scenario based sparring will make it more well round for the street.
regarding the retention of weapons, do you train some typical drills and do you put your students in a scenario against a resisting oponent ?
it would be nice to hear something from you
kind regards

amando

Martial Arts Topics / training method

hi guys,
i am practising thaiboxing and jujitsu for self defense purpose.  i would like to let you know by this forum, that the DBMA system helped me a lot in my trainingmethods.  my view about training for real combat changed completely after i discovered your way of training.  it costs me a lot of bruises, broken nose, etc ...  but i can say that i improved a lot, and i adapted my skills for real combat.  i hope one day to meet you during a seminar in my country.
god bless,
amando
