I found that PappyDog has a video available @ titled: "A Dog Brothers' Gathering of the Pack, Fighting Escrima Kali Arnis" Starring Pappy and SaltyDog with
Eric (topdog) Knaus, commenting on each fight in detail (according to review). Is this an improved version of the standard Gathering of the pack dvd or is it a completely different video?

In 1904 stick fighting became an official Olympics event until it lost it's popularity.  In the near future it may once again be an official Olympic event due to the influences of the Philippines Olympic committee. Here are two articles that I found very interesting.  8-)

Martial Arts Topics / new knife sparring game
« on: May 06, 2005, 11:37:37 AM »
I finaly found the answer to keeping it real when knife sparring. "STUN GUNS". They cause temporary paralisis but are otherwise harmless to a generally healthy person. I am associated with a group that uses this technique and it works well. Just think. Knife sparring with a knock out punch. Im sure this will be intriguing to many Knife Fighters and Dogs alike.  P.S.  Wear goggles and don't wear thick clothing.     Tom

« on: April 09, 2005, 03:09:00 AM »
Does anyone know if there is a group of fighters that still meet at the park(south park) were the gatherings use to take place. I heard that they meet on the same dates as previous gatherings at the park. As I recall that would be the first weekend in May and the third weekend of September. 411 please.
