Martial Arts Topics / Worthwhile Organizations

Vigil brought this to my attention and I figured it was worth sharing with everyone here.

As we are sort of a unique community, it seems to me that any organization that is looking out to make our world a better, safer place for our brothers and sisters is well worth supporting.

MASS MMA, the official News, Search and Community site to East Coast Martial Arts is raising awareness and money for the Head Injury Rehabilitation Center at the Spaulding Hospital in Boston. Supporting such as cause is, on the surface very fitting, but the irony here is that there has never been a serious head injury in a sanctioned Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event in New England, though the possibility of such a life altering event occurring to one of our athletes still exists
