Martial Arts Topics / its not the length of the edge
« on: August 04, 2006, 01:17:15 AM »
its how you use it
raf I totaly agree
you dont have to cut deep or long to achieve results
the ham string can be cut with minimal penitration especialy
upon extention
if you know its really quite easy to cut all points with a cutting edge of 1/4 inch long
with the exception of the deep penatrating trama stabs one or two cuts open enough mass for termanil bleeding
and in the instants where you miss
weell thats ok
a cut less than 2 inches and under a 1/4 inch deep have been known to make an attacker move on to the emergancy room jail or anyother place insted of getting cut
yes I been in knife incidents
they suck
you always get hurt
if you can accecpt the fact you can die or be gravely injured
---
well your gonna die if you dont?
---
do wht it take to keep you breathing
OMG its survival for whatever sake
you do what you have to
dont kill the other guy if you can help it
but you gotta do whats needed
be a humanitarian after but for the sec your trying to survive
cpr can be applyed
your life cant

hey you can get online and get a bfk from jaguar knives their pretty good and around 20 or so bucks in florada its not a good idea to wander around with a bali especialy a pricy one if you get a cheap bfk cheack out the pins that hold the blade to the handles if thier copper as most you can modify a piece of stainless steel for pins I can help you with that with a walk through if you need but to carry definitly pay less than 30 bucks for cops love to get a new knife even if your not trying to kill another person I have gotten into a couple of messes not doing anything wrong just having a bfk can cost you even if its your work knife

Martial Arts Topics / Kids with sticks...the dogbrothers
« on: September 24, 2003, 05:29:57 AM »
sorry for placing my 50 cents here but I know from experiance that all sticks hurt whether from a soft and supple stick or a ironwood stick and if you think that these guys arnt hitting hard you might offer them a chance to see how well your tech is and how you might be vunrable my advice is that you might think a bit more about this after you might take these men to the cleaners and soak up a shot or two (if your tech is supirior atleast one shot will get through I hope not more acording to your defense) though you do make a intresting point here about using a dencer stick this would increase the injurys and the healing time for most fighters fine if your trying to protect yourself in a last ditch but to your friends hmm hope I dont become your enemy for if you would do this in a setting to test your tech how would you treat youropponent? hmm this is rattling along a bit more than I thought but every one tell us what you think about this post and how this player wants to work his tech would you be nice upon meeting at stick length?
