This article seems to suggest, that in recent past, correctional officers found to be involved in these kinds of activities were not fired on the spot and prosecuted in a court of law.  I find that disturbing.

I found this article on bulshido.  It sounded at first like a suicide rumor was started. dunno

David Carradine Dead at 73
The Kill Bill and Kung Fu actor was found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok Thailand, where he was on location to shoot an upcoming film.

Carradine, according to his agent, had been feeling fine and was in good spirits.

It is believed he died of natural causes.

Thai police spoke with the BBC, telling them the 72-year-old was found this morning by a hotel maid sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and body.

There are reports coming out of Thailand this morning that David Carradine was found, "hanged in his luxury hotel room and is believed to have committed suicide."

The report cites "police sources" who are connected to the investigation.

That is a interesting video- I'm wondering how it's copyrighted by monster garage? There's a few more vids in the toolbox area also.

Both "Monster Garage" and the Dog Brothers documentary "Fight Club no Limits" were made by the same production company.  8-)

Staying in Waikiki for a few days with my girl.  I don't have any of my gear, but I might be looking for some open mats, or something like that.

I tried looking up the Relson Gracie school, but it looks like he has a bunch of affiliate schools, and I can't seem to find the one he teaches at...

Anybody have some suggestions?

Hey Boo Dog, Great job at the gathering! You and the new generation of dog brothers are really taking it to the next level.  Sorry about the mix up with our double nunchuk fight.  When you knocked one of the weapons out of my hand, I started getting a little nervous and forgot about the stand up agreement. When we clinched,  I was trying to take you down while you were trying to hold this Old Dog up   I'm a little rusty, but I'm going to try to work on that.
Thanks to all of the Dog Brothers for a great day!

In 1904 stick fighting became an official Olympics event until it lost it's popularity.  In the near future it may once again be an official Olympic event due to the influences of the Philippines Olympic committee. Here are two articles that I found very interesting.  8-)

That was an inspirational story of courage indeed. What wouldn't surprise me is,  the cops knocking on her door one day and arresting her for taking those unnecessary shots down the hill in the direction that the assailant was last seen heading. She's very lucky in my opinion.  She could be doing some serious prison time for that act.
My ex brother in law goes to court next month for pulling a gun on a guy (gang banger neighbor) who was trying to bum rush him as he was entering the front door of his apartment one evening.  No shots were fired . This guy called the cops on him and produced some false witnesses. Soon after, the cops came and took him away in handcuffs.  He faces a 4 to 12 year prison sentence accordind to California state law. It's getting to the point that you can't even defend youself without the risk of going to jail. also: To add insult to injury, his landlord kicked him out of his apartment. WTF !  He has no criminal record and is very responsible so, we are hoping the judge will go easy on him?

That made me think back when I trained with GM Presas back in 96, just a couple of months prior to my first DB gathering.
Such a kind and carring man he was. GM Dantes is in good company if your hopes are true!
