My deepest condolences from the Kaju Dog family.

Not a question of secrets Kaju; just a matter of wanting to be able to be able to discuss matters candidly or even to reject a suggestion without embarassing someone publicly.

Good point well received as I embarace myself.  (something Im good at) ;)

Make the best out of it DOGS!!!! for one day I'll be there.  Good luck to all. :-D

@GC,

Maybe I should call you but not into secrets.  I respectfully request Kajukenbo Sifu J. Cordova to accompany me as a guest fighter and as I see a future Dog Brother to this Tribal Gathering.  May I have your blessing for this invite.  JCordova fought honorably at the last public gathering and also works as a US Marshal.

TAC,
Kaju

Im slow and maybe I missed the detail but here goes;

Is there a physical address or destination for this event?

@C-GD: I too love the detailed search.  Arizona was the best when I came back from Britain a few years back.  lol

YOU ROCK !  A little Bromance never hurt anyone.  Ok, maybe thats a bit much...  RALMAO

I called to let you know
that we are going to be on the fight network
To talk about the cause

Tres Cool!

Is there a physical address or destination for this event?  I need to start looking into travel for this ASAP.  I have my British Birth Certificate so border crossing should be no prob. Might drive or Fly duno yet.

PS
Call me anytime Brother during the day is usually best though.

‎" Beat the Crap out of cancer" event will be held the first weekend of December in Toronto at FAC , a day of stick and knife fighting open to all levels and a chance to raise money for a worthy cause, an event page will be up and running soon

Is this what you were calling me about?  I tried texting you back due to time differences, but got no reply.

Sounds like an outstanding opportunity on so many levels.

Looking forward to learning more about this,

Although I did not have the privilage or honor of knowing either of these FMA Giants, I have come across both in my studies via written texts.

I pray that their influences on the lives they touched both direct and indirect enable their spirits to live on in all of us.

Sincere respects and condolences...  May they rest in peace.

Good story...  IMHO CCW's permits are something that those with clean records and especially prior LEO or related training should be automatic.

Im stoked about the exposure and opportunity for Craftys Dreams to become reality.  If there is EVER ANYTHING that I can do to help, Im down.

To me, the terminology is very clear in regard to the possible and VERY LIKELY event of public exposure of any and all things that go down at any DB's event.  In fact I have to admit that I plagerized some of the terminology for my own waivers that my students and participants sign.

To amend the DB's "MAGIC WORDS" at this time would be to indirectly admit that it has not been clear, when IMO it is VERY CLEAR.

just my .2 cents for the IOU its worth...  LOL

Gratful for a conversation this morning that led me to understand that there is a 2 time Felon Bull Dog Gang member living only 2 blocks over.  Explains why my dog barks at 2am sometimes.

Also gratful for phones, so that my kids can call thier freinds over to play instead of having to pass this dirtbags house.

Although there has been a welcomed swell in the number of Gathering fighters in the last five years, many were there for a single fight, and in some cases, only one or perhaps more knife fights.   Also, it is a lot harder to fight several rounds over a period of four hours than the same number over two hours.  It's just hard to be amped up for such a long time span.

Woof Baltic Dog and Aloha,

Could I be forward and ask if you could eleborate on your experiences with hose fighting.  Maybe another thread if this is not the place or even a PM would be appreciated.

With all due respect,
Dean

Classified Ad: Help Wanted
Sept Gathering: Seeking Dog, C-Dog or Named Dog only to fight or at least discuss the possibility of fighting "Garden Hose with Brass Fittings vs. Garden Hose with Brass Fittings". I'm thinking 6ft black rubber with standard brass fittings on either end. I would make up duplicate weapons and mail out to opponent in time for getting familiar with it. Use it like whip, fold and strike with brass fittings end, fold and strike with loop end, interesting possibilities for chokes, trips, hog tie(?) etc.,etc.

Any interest please email (not PM) Click on my name at left of this message to find my email. Thanks.

This is not far from last year's location so similar hotel arrangements
should apply.

With that being said...  Im going on a search for a friend.  Anyone have a suggestion for a hotel where a Kajukenbo Brother might be able to stay close to some of the other fighters?

Thanks in advance...  Im short on time now, but will look in the AM.

Wuff Guro "Lonely Dog",

Fantastic report - Cheers

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone from bottom to top.  The progression in the skill level of the Pack really impressed me at last years Private Gathering.  I can only get excited when I read of our overseas Brothers doing the same.

The continued progression and consistancy is key to the strength of the Tribe as a whole.  With that said, I am also grateful for the seemingly lower number of reported injuries, especially among the seasoned Dogs.

"Strength and Honor"

WITH HUGE RESPECT TO YOU ALL,
KD :-D 8-)

That sucks...

Your Achillies sound like my ACL's

Run this by your Dr 1st, but I do know of some research one of the Therapists I worked with was having good results with E-stem.

The findings was that the high intensity *(not just e-stem but PAINFUL TORTUROUS E-STEM) causes faster healing.

Tricky Dog,

Would you mind if I copied your post and emailed it to my old Boss "Physical Therapist" to see if I can drum up any help for you?

To your health and speedy recovery,
Dean "Kaju Dog/Doc"  :-P

PS
Make sure you show your other half how to do the MFR.   Every chance you get, you need to work the scar tissue.  *(ONLY ONCE YOUR DR OK'S MFR)

For my inversion table...   T-spine pinched nerve this morning while holding my son.  Luckily I was close to the bed and let him go safely.

Heat, stretch, hang upside down and try to work it out...  still in lot of pain but I am alive so all is well. :x

I may not be even on the same page as this topic, but interested in where the conversation goes.

Im looking forward to seeing everyone again.  LAX is always a solid option.  I like Vegas due to the cheap tickets and fun after parties...   But, FYI Guro and Tribe, 1 of our schools here in Fresno now has a cage that we can use for a future Gathering or even seminar with our Guiding Force Crafty Dog...

Im sure there are a few others out there with these things available, but I just wanted to toss that out there...
