My thanks to the DBMA allstar team, they are the people that come together to make every DBMA event possilbe. My special thanks to all of the competitors ( if those that fought can be called that, I prefer the all inclusive "TRIBE") who came out to fight. I also want to thank everyone that came to support their warriors because they get to see what makes us spend holidays, birthdays, anniversaries (whether they remembered or not), weekends, weekdays, and countless hours forging our bodies/mind/spirit to perfect our arts. I never saw a single fighter that lacked heart, I never saw anyone too afraid to step out on to the mat, and I've yet to see anyone leave a gathering in poor spirits. Though our numbers were fewer than usual, I see only room for our tribe to grow. The faces of this gathering should be the faces of many gatherings to come, and it is up to us to communicate with one another and prepare each other for November or any unforseen scenario (flight 93 scenario included) in the future. We must walk as warriors for all of our days, as a tribe.
