Looking for a single, or a single and knife or a double stick- prefer a no-grappling fight this time around.

Hi Gibby,

How does a single stick sound?

Thanks,
Paul

Dr. Dog, I have about a 6 foot rattan staff. Should be arriving in LA today. I read you had a 54 inch staff. Do you have anything bigger? Woof!

I may have a six footer I can bring.  Please shoot me an email the night before to remind me.

Woof Carlos - I have Pappy Dog bringing a couple for me, and then shipping them to me afterwards. Traveling with these is a pain. I prefer the shorter staff, will be fine to use short vs long staff if you are amenable.  Guro Crafty - thanks for bringing those.  Looking forward to it!

Dr. Dog, I am open to doing short vs long staff. Both have their advantages and disadvantage vs each other. Should be interesting. Woof!

Paul and Jeff- Hit me up, I will be the tall dorky guy wearing the kilt.  My rule is I will fight anybody with anything but I really want to try some no grappling stuff.  Distancing, entering, angles and trying to apply some of the Kara-Ho Kempo principles is my goal.

The knife fights often end up in a clinch with each person killing each other about 5 times, then I get taken down and choked out. LOL  Same with stick- a couple swings a rush/clinch then hitting each other in the shins while doing a bro-hug.

All of it is fun, and growth is everywhere.

NOTE: If you fight Mongolian Dog, do not, under any circumstances, remove your mask to increase visibility.  My favorite t-shirt still has blood stains all over it.

Awesome day today in every way.

I'm off to the Border Patrol HQ tomorrow to work the the Advanced Trainers, then on to Falls Church, VA.

To tired to post much right now; will try to do so while I am on the road.

Tail wags for the kind words.

I am on the road at the moment, but will have more to say when I return.
