Presa sent me a PM asking "But what equipment will be needed to bring?"

I thought I'd mention it here so everyone knows.  We will be covering all three aspects of DBMA; RCSF, DLO & KT.  That said I recommend bringing as many of the following.  However if you don't have one or more of the following just bring what you have!:

RCSF

Rattan Sticks
Soft Sticks
Durattan Sticks

DLO

Training Blades
Forearm Protection (if you have it)

KT:

Boxing Gloves or MMA Training GLoves
Shin Pads
Elbow Pads

**ANNOUNCEMENT!**

We are excited to announce that Guro Guard Dog (Ryan Gruhn) will be teaching Kali-Tudo™ at the East Coast Camp in October! Guro Guard Dog will be stripping the Kali-Tudo movements down to their core and building upon the fundamentals with a systematic and highly analytical approach.  Whether you are new to the empty handed arts or a veteran fighter this material will greatly improve your game.  Guro Guard Dog has infused Kali-Tudo into his MMA fighters training with extremely successful results and has had a number of fighters reach the pinnacle of MMA by fighting in the UFC, Bellator and other highly noted organizations!

The material Guro Guard Dog will present can be used in addition to other arts or used as a standalone system.  Highly recommended for school owners looking to add a striking based art to their schools lineup or to add to a schools current curriculum inside the already existent striking program.

Note that by adrenalizing Kali-Tudo in the context of the cage, we are developing what we call "consistency across categories" (one idiom of movement for weaponry, empty hand, and the mix of the two that we call "Die Less Often").  The movements of Kali-Tudo are ingeniously designed to be applicable to the interface of gun, knife, and empty hand---No more need to lose time identifying whether an attack is unarmed or armed and choosing the appropriate response.

In addition to being a Guro in DBMA, Ryan is also Full Instructor under Ajarn Chai and the PA state representative for the World Thai Boxing Association.  Guro Guard Dog’s understanding of the singular arts of Boxing and Muay Thai give him an unparalleled understanding of how the Filipino Empty Hand arts and Kali-Tudo blend into the other arts you may have already become familiar with. Woof!

Guro Crafty will be available for private lessons on Friday for those of you coming in early.  Select times during Saturday and Sunday could be available as well per Guro Crafty's schedule.  I have been a private student of Guro Crafty for over a decade and can't speak highly enough of his ability to relay information and bring your game to the next level.  For me however this usually requires a trip to Los Angeles to do so.  For those of you on the East Coast, take advantage of this rare opportunity of having Guro Crafty in your back yard!

Please email me at ryan@dogbrothers.com with the days/times (outside of the seminar obviously) that work for you and we'll confirm the day/time is available, then you will  pay in advance on dogbrothers.com to reserve your private lesson.
