Also the sound is an element that has special importance in this dance of canes, generated mainly by the blows of canes i the musical instruments, simultaneously that the blows in the ground, the shouts of the dancers...

Combinacion of all these elements forms own a sonorous frame concrete i of each dance.

All i to be a dance that in its origins single was danced by men, from years 60, the figure of the woman also this present At the moment it has but of 90 existing groups in Catalunya, and most of them, day after day for the continuity of our tradition and folklore work

Yes, approximately :)

1 inch (1 pulgada) = 2,54cm

1 metro (100 cm)  = 39.4 pulgadas (inches)

1 pulgada  (inch) = 2,54 cm.

1 pie (foot) = 150.48 cm.

1 yard (yarda) = 91.44 cm.

1 yard (yarda) = 36 pulgadas (inches)

If you'll read the post about folk dances in the Spanish forum, you'll see that combatives dances similar to this exist in Latin America as well.
