Also the sound is an element that has special importance in this dance of canes, generated mainly by the blows of canes i the musical instruments, simultaneously that the blows in the ground, the shouts of the dancers...

Combinacion of all these elements forms own a sonorous frame concrete i of each dance.

Yes, approximately :)

1 inch (1 pulgada) = 2,54cm

1 metro (100 cm)  = 39.4 pulgadas (inches)

1 pulgada  (inch) = 2,54 cm.

1 pie (foot) = 150.48 cm.

1 yard (yarda) = 91.44 cm.

1 yard (yarda) = 36 pulgadas (inches)

If you'll read the post about folk dances in the Spanish forum, you'll see that combatives dances similar to this exist in Latin America as well.
