Time for Thanks
« on: June 26, 2006, 03:56:36 PM »
I just wanted to publically thank Crafty Dog for the Gathering. This is the first time I really went in with solid stick training, and thanks to Guro Crafty's guidance things went very well.

I had a blast, learnt some new things, and got to play with a shock knife while fighting which was very eye opening.

Thanks to my partners who went against me in my matches.

I was disappointed in not being able to fight more and have the opportunity to earn  my name, but I would really like to thank Guro Crafty  for the opportunity to play and and both Corey and Dennis for playing with me.  I would particularly like to thank Cindy "Pretty Kitty" Denny for directing me to Company of Mary hospital where they fixed my dislocated shoulder.  I will be out of the sling in a week and will begin rehabilitating my shoulder as soon as I can.

Woof, I think the title of this thread is appropriate. I too just want to take the moment and post a heart felt thank you to Pretty Kitty and Crafty for another fine gathering.
Your work and effort to put on these events is greatly appreciated, and much benifit to all of us who attend and participate.

It was great to see everyone, and renew old friendships, and a chance to watch some great fights as well as fight some great fighters.....and some really great people as well.
If any of you that read this forum have an idea of attending a gathering and or particiapting I fully encourage you to do it. I could by no means begin to put to words, what really goes on there, its much more than just guys getting together to fight(that too), but the comaradire, friendship and respect, the learning and growing as a fighter and human being is beyond words.....I encourage you to come see for yourself.
Again to PK and guro Crafty Thanks again!!

Glad your ok.  I was enjoying the fight.  You are a good man.  I hope your recovery goes well and we have a chance to finish it.

When your ready for PT, be sure and do those stupid shoulder rehad exercises.  They do work.
I don't know how many of them it would have taken to whip my ass, but I knew how many they were going to use. That's a handy little piece of information.

Woof Guro C.,

I won't go into detail on an open forum but I want to let you know that what you have shared with me has once again saved my backside.
