Upon reflection I renamed him "Morro Bay" (a famous bay here on the California coast) and call him "Morro" for short and he still comes when called.
g

that's political correctness on a higher level.

'Khali' outside of the Goddess of Destruction is also the term used for the waving of the hand in traditional music depicting a void or emptiness. So it is a 'Hand Motion' but pertains to music, not anything martial.

anyway, it sounds good!

;)

btw, while practicing fma footwork i mostly feel like i'd dance.

i don't really understand the point of this discussion anymore.

is the reason to take a challenge that important?

it's more important for me that the fighter meets his opponent with intelligent comparativeness.
i don't mind if he fight's for his ego, his experience, for his family or whatever he can fight for.

hello crafty, hello guys.

first of all, thank you for the forum.

linda quoted this: "...we must refrain from the human tendency to always see ourselves as good people."

i don't think it's a question about good and evil.

homo sapiens is not that old and life/surviving was very hard and cruel.
sometimes we are talking about the animal in us and i believe that it contains more truth then we dare to admit.

i assume that developing our brains to a other level then "hunting and collecting" (as we say in german) takes a lot more time then 100'000 years.

possibly my personal explanation is too easy and there's a much more complicated answer... :?:
