I know there are a couple of you out there. (I.E Sun Helmet  :-D )  And I thought some of you would enjoy this. This statue was released from the Famous Frazetta painting for Robert E Howards story The Frost Giants daughter titled The Snow Giants.

This really captures Frazetta Snow Giants perfect. I have to order one.

I always thought Death Dealer was cool.

Howard's stories about the Warrior Christian, Solomon Kane, are my favorite.

"it has fallen upon me, now and again in my sojourns throughout the world, to ease various evil men of their lives"  Solomon Kane - from "The Castle of the Devil"
I don't know how many of them it would have taken to whip my ass, but I knew how many they were going to use. That's a handy little piece of information.

Then it would be good for you to know that The Movie is in the works..

Solomon Kane was a good character..Anyone read Brac Mac Morn?

IIRC Tuhon Rafeal (Sun Helmet) has been involved with this character.  I will email him about this thread.

I know he worked on a cover art for one of the comic issues. I prasied him for his work on it over at the Sayoc forums. I wish I could get a copy signed by him. I got a pretty big collection of Conan and that would be pretty awesome to have a signed issue from one of the artist. :-D

Well be noted as well that The Next CONAN movie is in the works..And its not sopposed to be Haga like Conan The Destroyer. They are going to hold true to Howards vision of Conan...

I love Conan's world view that if something can hurt him, then he can kill it (and should right now).

Kane was once confronted by an foe he couldn't hurt.  He continued fighting with the resolve that, "If he must die he would die in his tracks, his wounds in front.

There's no point to these quotes, I just love what Howard left us.

Howard (and LoveCraft) were great writers with a world so rich it felt like it was possible it could have been real at one time..Long long ago..Howard didnt need elves and Knomes to make his world something interesting...There is a movie about Howard..Where he explains how Conan comes into his room at night with a axe and tells him what to write about his adventures.

Did you know that Howard and LoveCraft were pen pals?
