Hi. This is my first time on this forum, so sorry if this has been asked before. Are the Dog Brothers videos only available on video tape? I was trying to find them on DVD and wasn't sure if I just couldn't find them or if it was video tape only. If it's video tape only, are there plans in the near future for a release in DVD? Thanks.

Just a quick yip from the road in Italy.  We are working on a general release DVD right now.  This project has taken longer than planned (audio sync problems and the Digital 8 camera on which key footage is shot does not work but cannot be fixed because it has no serial number !?! thank you Costco-NOT!) ) but when it is done we will move on to instructional DVDs.

Marc,

What audio sync problems are you encountering ?  On authoring or capture ?  I've powered through a lot of audio sync problems in my
DVD authoring, so perhaps I can help.

Woof Gints:

When I get back on the 19th (in Bern Switzerland with Lonely Dog this coming weekend, then with any luck a day of training with GT Leo in Germany before heading home) I will greatfully take you up on your offer.

thanks 8)

Woof All:

The first series and the second series are in the process of being converted as we speak.  A copy of KK is already available for my inspection.  We anticipate their being ready in time for Xmas.

Also, this coming week we are shooting 3-4 DVDs.

Probable subjects are:

The Snaggletooth Drill
Big Stick: Single Triques
Staff
Kali Tudo (R)

I can't wait until the DVDs are available! I've had the tapes for some years now. I let a friend borrow #1. He left it laying around somewhere at work. OF course it disappeared. I then bought a replacement, which I kept for a while. I ended up giving it away to another friend so he could learn some of the basics. I don't know why people have such a hard time returning stuff that isn't theirs.   I am very wary about lending out training, or any other type of, videos & DVDs. Anyway, when the DVDs are available, I'll purchase Vol. 1 to make my set complete again.

Gatherings on Tape?
« Reply #7 on: September 27, 2004, 10:42:06 AM »
Crafty,

Training partners and friends of mine have participated at the Gathering, and though I was present for their fights, analysis was difficult for several reasons (partial view, etc.).  So that fighters may disect their own strengths and weaknesses as manifested during their 2-minute rounds, will DVD or VHS be available for a specific Gathering --  for instance will it be possible to obtain a copy of say, the June 2004 Gathering of the Pack?

I know it would be a helpful tool for self improvement, so I'm curious.

many thanks.
