LOL, Sorry Marc haha I been here so long sometime I tend to forget. Brian Dramge lol

That are all in awesome condition if anyone is interested here is a list and I have pics all these knives as sharp as hell, Never used to cut anything and oiled with care. Why am I selling them? School man, School lol!

1) Sog Seal 2000

2) Emerson Black on Black Combat Karambit

3) Cold Steel Tiger Claw Karambit

4)  CRKT - Black on Black with Dark Green cord handle wrapping " First Strike" - This was limited and they don't make these anymore

5) This is a heart break and a half to let go and the price has to be good lol not asking retail but don't want to get shredded- My SpyderCo Shivworks P'kal - I have had this knife for awhile and it's still in excellent condition and sharp as all hell

6) My Cheness  "9260 differentially Hardened Kaze Kantana" and clayed and differentially hardened, what makes the Kaze unique is the use of the revolutionary 9260 Spring steel in the blade: a perfect combination of age old art with cutting edge modern metallurgy. Unlike just about every other production sword on the market in this price range, the Kaze has a totally authentic Hamon temper line (other production swords all have fake acid etched or wire brushed hamon). While it is subtle (as the polish to bring it out to its full potential would double the cost of the sword) the 9260 Spring steel results in a very distinct pooling of the nie crystals, making for a very clear and nicely defined hamon line.
An elegant looking sword with a blackened steel replica of an actual antique tsuba, the Kaze is beautifully balanced between appearance, functionality and price. The hardened edge also cuts traditional targets like a laser, which is why I have nicknamed it 'the Tatami Killer'.

7) Cold Steel's Hand and a Half Bastard Sword

8) Gerber Bear Claw

9) Cold Steel Black on Black Scimitar  folder

You can PM me here on the site or e-mail me at MaxDasJames@gmail.com , We can talk price privately

I would love to try and fit that into my program but School,Training and other does not allow me to fit anything like rucking. If I had the time I would, Man I would love to. But right now it's just lifting heavy arse weight, Push and keep pushing! To even get Cardio in I had to create a Sayoc Abdominal Cardio Template to get everything in. The template works and keeps my game up in the Knife department.

I never said they were illegal, Said I think they are becoming a issue just based off of how my buddies talked about them.

Now the Zero Tolerance? I have heard assisted are illegal but I was not sure.

But back to the subject.

Has anyone besides myself had a chance to check out Combative edges knives?

The Syderco P'kal knife is a good knife but I feel it limits you..

Couple close friends of mine who are LA Sheriffs ( Soon I will be joining them crosses fingers lol) Said those knives show intent to use other then a tool. Shiv works knife does not show intent for any other use other then tearing someone up, Also when you arrive to prove you used this type of knife in a Self Den-fence situation, and the Prosecutor Throws these types of things at the jury

1) The Knife's Logo is " Fist full of Fight"
2) The Knife is Also known as SHIV work - Shiv being a term used in prison for using something to carve someone up
3) The knife is marketed as a Self defense knife
4) The Knife has a Snake on it with a Blade Tale
5) The knife is held in a fashion that has no justified tool means
6)  The knife is to be pulled from the pocket with a wave fashion to be opened one hand so the user has better access to this weapon to be used faster
7)  And finally, This person who carries this knife practices a Knife fighting weapon based system known as FMA or Kali  and then they dig into you just to watch ¥ou grovel.

I love Shiv-Works marketing but will they send a Lawyer to help you get out of a "Fist Full of Fight"

There is what he said happened, What you think happened and what the law perceives what had happened and having something marketed as such...is not a great idea, However, I love the knife..It is a fantastic blade and there is little out there that comes close to it.

I have one, Love it and carried it at times, but my recent conversation with Marc Macyoung has scared me into carrying anything that is marketed like this.

Cold steel was a long time fav of mine. Has anyone seen the new Recon 1 plain tanto style with the new handle? Wow, I am thinking Birthday present this July.

Last Recon 1 I had the locks were crappy but since then Cold Steel has gone back and fixed all locking problems.

Thought this would be fun to talk about and get some look into what you guys think

My Lovely girlfriend picked me up a new M-1 Combative Edge knife  (http://www.combativeedge.com/)   This knife is made by the good people over in PA and part of the PTK family, However, I have been studying Sayoc and this knife works just as well for any system. Nice big knife, Good steal but the clip IMHO is a tad shabby,Seems real loose in the jeans in back pocket wear, However, I talked to the Owner "Rob Walker" and he is going to be making custom clips and sending me one out for free to replace this clip. It's nice and sharp out of the box, it's light in the hand, Has a great lock ZERO blade play! I would have given this knife a 10 but the clip dropped it down a tad. You would feel this knife and think " To Light and that = Cheap" No, The materials used in the making of this knife ( locking Titanium frame) Makes it nice and light
Anyone had a chance to look into these knives?

Next up

Zero Tolerance Knives - from the makers of Ken Strider and I think Orion cross bred. I have a 305 and it's nothing but awesome. Everything about this knife is awesome. However, the blade is a tad small and it's a spring assisted folder ( Meaning it pops right open) Gives you a tad of trouble buying one in a shop, You need to be military or Law enforcement in America to purchase one over the counter but I think buying one online is rather easy. It's not a switch blade but spring level assisted. Great Locking system and again ZERO blade play

Both A + Knives.

If you look back a post around here I posted awhile back about this. I got into some crap awhile back and was attempting to Bjj a guy and he took the liberty to stab me several times in my lower leg, Thus ending the fight!  What was he using? Not some deadly, Heavy marketed FMA battle knife but a pen. I have 4 nice size scare holes to remind me of this adventure. Last time I got together with guide dog, I showed him these Pen attacks and we both had a nice laugh about it. I was the king of the ring/battle ninja and he was some ass with a pen.

The pen in this case was deff. Mighter then the sword and my Bjj hahah!

To be honest, That clip was a Promo commercial for Marine Propaganda( at the end it gave Marines.com) and next, Martial Arts does not make the man but the man makes the art and last I go to a local place with girls, Fun and Mayhem where several Marines go and every Saturday night there is a marine laying face first on the ground because he got rowdy and some street rat knocked him out, Those street rats are your typical Lifted Truck driving, Big Weight lifting Mofos, Who take MMA and steroids a couple times a week, The problem I see with Military training is they make you feel like you are invincible and you can defeat anyone and that's not the case, While the above person I mentioned is a social dick, He fights pretty much every weekend and they have to because it's in their social circle to be a macho dick face and even the ones that don't do mma are built like brick houses and like to fight lol!

I doesn't matter if you are a Army ranger, G.Beret, Marine or Ninja...If you have a glass jaw, You have a glass jaw

This is cool! But funny and wierd...I have been using this for about 2 years now! I kinda do it by default. I was sparring with a friend and just up swung him and tagged him across the trap. Then I just kept using it...Sometimes you can stumble on a good idea just by using common sense and understanding angle of attacks. I noticed in this whole thing that angle of attack sometimes does not need to be taught to you but just a understanding is enough. However, this is great stuff here!

So question... Kaju or anyone.. Does anyone here understand what I ment about doing bull dogging knife work that We in the Army and Marines have been using? If nobody know I can open a seperate topic for it and talk about how we train with it on and off base, Defence and attack.

@ Dean Kaju Dog - I do both and sometimes I do wrist rollers and reverse curls work the forearms. I would like to fight in a gathering but I dont really bother with sticks and hardly to never train with them..AND I have not trained in a awhile...Most of the knife we have been using in the Military and light sparing is bull doging.

@ Rarick - ahhaha No time? You should see how much I have to eat as well - 6 times to 7 times a day and that takes alot of time as well but if you manage your time well and have a good trainer you can make it happen.

My time get shortend on weeks I do Power lift, pulls and pushes.

Ya when I was using the Rattan it was just way to light. I tried moving on to the Hard Wood Komegong stick I have and that was to light as well. I have a steel pipe that is the size of my 31 -32  K.I.L stick and I was thinking of maybe filling that with sand, sealing it up and using that to swing with for awhile. I tried to do some knife speed drill the other day but I was found myself asking myself if I was bored.

I am still going to try and do something here and there and build up the pace

For awhile now I have slowed down to Zero of praticing my Fight skills. All I have been doing is lifting weights and Strong man lifts and have become rather yolked out lol But I miss doing some drills. Does anyone know where I can start getting back into it around my lifting program?  I was working on Shoulders and Triceps today and while I was resting I grabbed my Stick and started doing a couple of light power swings to just stay warm..Though I have no interest in using a stick it felt kinda good.

I have my heavy bag I was going to start fist drilling on and doing some knife drills but anyone have any suggestiong to get me pumped up again? Maybe a example of what I am doing for work outs could help someone help me fit in some drilling

Though these videos are going to help me motivate a young women I know..That one was very motivational in showing that a Female can use a knife as well.

Most of these guys have either tried or on something. You can tell with a few of them. Some body builders go though this process called Bleeding. They do gear all the way up into a point and have dialysis and have something else done. This cleans out the blood and they test neg for Test.

UFC as of late has been hurting with fighters, The new season of UF and then their number 1 drops out for 105,106?

I am not saying this is the case with Brock using test but the timing is right. You need about that long of time for it to clear your system.

I would like to just clear one thing up about Test Supps. There are all types of gear out there not just ones that boost your  Strength  and power. There are some that boost your Speed, Agility, Resistance to pain, Cut your body fat out, make certain muscle in your body explode with power and the list goes on.

anyways. I can say I am almost certain that most fighters still use Pro Hormones. Pro Hormones are still very much legal. I remember a add that Rob Mccullen did for a Prohornone supp and pro hormones are just legal designer steroids with a cute name

@Kaju - Yes it was a total stand up fight at first. I am sure he would have stand me in the early stages. He started by pushing me like super man into a wall and I returned with a hit..

When it went to the ground I believe it was because he was a fighter who got drunk and wailed on smaller people and he was like a turtle on his back. I could see the fear on his face/Panic while I was hitting him..

I was wearing low top slip on black vans and my shoe came off during this whole deal.

He got me once below the knee on the side of my leg ( Thats the worse one) another one about 2 inches from that one, Another one in my calf and a Finally one below the ankle.

I wanted to share this story to inform other's that there is something out there that someone will use as self defence besides a knife.

* The Pen Is Mightier Then The Sword"  :|

I do believe that since he was panicing he believed his only option was to start jabbing me with a pen

I would like to point out a couple things for a second.

1) I would like to clear up "I had a folder and forgot it was there"

I hope some people don't think that if I had remembered it was there I would have pulled it. To me it was a fist fight and nothing more..So even if I would have remembered it was there I still would have never pulled it.

Now If I knew he was stabbing me with a Pen would I have pulled it?  Well, I don't know and probably not.

Man stabs mma manic to save his life from being chocked out and mma crazy pulls folder made by a company called SHIV WORKS..A knife that can be opened one handed and has a nick name for being called Fist full of fight.

This knife wielding mad man also practices a knife wielding martial art knows as Kali

I am sure the prosecution would have a field day with that. Now if he stuck me in the neck and got on top and started jack hammering me then I would have pulled it..Getting stabbed in the leg with a Pen is not enough for for the police to let you go at least thats how I feel and I could be totally wrong.

Now I would like to ask..If you don't feel it when you get stabbed why is it that we or someone of us carry a knife?

This was a topic I asked in a Discussion called Straight blades vs Karambits..Wouldn't a Karambit do far more painful stoppage to someone?

Sorry if this seems to be all over the place..I am posting from my phone/

That's what I am saying, I knew I had it there before I went out..I knew it was there after the fight..I totally had no clue it was there durring it.

Just drilling under hardcore conditions can get the mind and body to react.

After talking to a few people who knew this bozo...It seems like a Pen is his MO. Most clubs search for a knife but a pen is just a item to get girls numbers and is sliped though rather easy and after just watching Casino this morning, I was watching the Pen stabbing scene and felt the guys pain lol!

Woof Max,
Thanks for sharing, I'm sorry you had to go through that but like you said things could have been worse. Now that you've had this experience, how will you react if something like this happens again? Will you be closing in, taking things to the ground again, are you still confident in going to the ground no matter what? Will you start training differently? Have you trained/sparred with weapons on the ground before this? Do you consider your grappling skills to be just as strong and safe for you in the street as in the ring or has this changed your mind about how effective grappling is when there's no rules and anything can happen? Even if he don't stab you, what if the guy had a friend that started stabbing you while you were busy with him on the ground, instead of the people that pulled you off him?
                                             P.C.

@ Prenticed crawford - I am going to do my best to try and cover everything here, How I feel and my training.

Experience- To start when I was younger ..Way younger I happend to be apart of a fight in a Arcade that went horrible..I was witness to someone being stabbed many many times. Since that day I have always tried to train for something to what I had seen but I found that you really can't train for the chaos. I train all the time, I do what I can to try and put my group in all types of situations...We STAY clear of dueling training as we believe that duels are few and far between..So we try and train with sharks in placed on ourselves. When we start to fight, Grapple or anything of that sort and start to lose the person losing will pull the knife and begin a whole new line of attack..Most of the time in this training I don't even know I have been jacked till about the third pump. JUST like this experience..I didn't even know that I had be jabbed 4 times till someone pointed it out..Shit, I probably would have went to my car, Drove home and got into the shower and then seen it.  :|  Anyways, I don't know what I could have done different but I noticed that there was no room for MMA type of fighting..I actually was figuring that out while I was exchanging blows...That type of fighting gives you the privilege of having a nice area of space, A Ref and lots of rules..I found myself just using good old fashion pinning the person against the speaker and throwing upper cuts, Over hands and knees...I was surprised allot of Tech went out the window..Esp. when I hurt my back by just throwing him...

Grappling on the street I feel at this time is certainly not how the Gracie ultimate fighting 36 move disk can help you...The guy reached up while I was doing my business and rend-ed my eye..IE reached up and tried to gouge my eye but instead scraped it all to hell to where it was bleeding and was infected.

You mention someone stabbing me in the back instead of being pulled off..Again, I don't believe any training in the world can prepare you for the actual chaos that can happen..I am not saying that training is worthless...I do believe that training has to be as realistic as legally possible.

My training has changed more and more over the the last couple years...Most of the time we are street boxing/Dirty boxing, Alot of rushing and pinning, Take downs with quick ground and pounds, Eye pokes, Bites, Getting off your back on the ground and back to your feet and we lift alot of weights..Strenght and power may not be everything but it helps in a pinch when someone is bigger then you and you have to move them and you dont have time for tech. We train with knives as well but never any dueling type..Our knife training is a Pinch of Kali and a Pinch of Prison. We do practice MMA also.

Whats funny is durring this whole battle.I had a Shiv-works Pkal folder in my front pants pocket...You only need one hand to pop this from pocket to action and I never even thought once of pulling it..

Like Dog Rene said...Thank the sheep gods he didnt jack me in the neck with the pen.

I have to give props to this guy though..He knew he was introuble when we were on the ground..But I thought I had my eyes on him..I didnt even see his hand go into his pants..

I have a pic of two of the wounds in my leg and what the sheets looked like when I scrapped my bandaids of in the night. Ouch! lol

Maxx,

You should have called the police to deal with the "Dick". Lucky you are still alive, and recovering.

This is why my advise is: Your first option is to avoid trouble. If that fails, break contact and evade/un-ass the area in a flash of bright light and/or cloud of O.C

Actually there was zero time from when we exchanged looks and he rose up and pushed slammed me against the wall..And at that point from where I was at, there was no way he was not going to wail on me and there was no way to leave...I couldnt leave my girlfriend there while I ran away lol...

I would like to share this with everyone here..This may or may not be the place to post about this but the topic is knives and knives lead to getting stabbed or slashed..

I am recovering right now from a fight I got into last wensday. I posted about this on the PSDTC forums and I will post about it here\

The fight was with some dick and that's the name we will give him.

This guy was bullying everyone at the club I was at, Pushing smaller guys, Pushing girls and just in General being a man bitch.

So I was standing next to him and not by choice and he started staring at me with the drunk gaze..I looked over and him and smiled..He said "What"? I was like oh boy here we go...I said Hi back..He said What the fuck did you say bitch..And again I thought..Here we friggen go..I know this routine..I then responded with nevermind..I mistaked you for the wrong person..

Well in his drunk stooper he jumped up and was like fuck you bitch..And pushed me rather hard into the wall..So I decked him in the face and somehow managed to throw him into the DJ speaker..It was unforturn that I just used all back muscle because I pulled my muscle in my back..

We began the man dance of throwing punches..I tried to take him down and I succeed not because of skill but more just aggression and the fact I think he tripped over Speaker Cables.

I noticed I was really starting to hammer him on the ground ( YAY FOR GROUND FIGHTING TRAINING) But I noitced that again skill was not keeping him down but the fact I was stronger and just shoving him back into the ground..I moved in position to finish him off not kill and I was pulled off by the crowd..

I was standing in the side and I now had a Swollen eye, Ripped T shirt, Knuckels were scuff and my friend says..You are bleeding here..Guess what? I didnt even notice that the guy had stabbed me 4 times in my leg when I was preparring to BJJ him..The guards found the item he was stabbing me with..He was stabbing me in the leg with a ball point pen while I was grappling and I didnt even notice it..After I noticed it, it hurt like a bitch.

I thought I would share this for not only will people use knifes in self defence but any object...

Now I am done healing from my wounds..My Back and 4 holes in my leg...
