Are the colors of the dog tags like belt ranks? If so, are tests given at gatherings?

Yes, they are like belt ranks, but please note that “the Dog Brothers” and “Dog Brothers Martial Arts” are distinct entities. See https://dogbrothers.com/phpBB2/index.php?topic=2121.0

The Dog Tags pertain to DBMA. Through the intermediate levels they can be given out by DBMA Instructors or by me. High levels require coming to a Camp for consideration for promotion by me and the sponsoring instructor.
