Is there any benefit to drawing outside, then moving inside?

Just thinking out loud. It seems like there isn’t an easy way to do it without stepping in an attack.

Not sure of your point here. It sounds like you are describing the third variation of the Cavewoman– the Outside Diamond footwork.

What am I missing?
