Guro Cunning looking very good here– this fight is discussed a bit on the forum.
I’m about 40 minutes in to day 1. I am noticing that the variable of the large space is producing great footwork but at the same time making it more difficult for people to close. Because of this there are less kicks/punches in the stick fights. We saw a number of punches and kicks in the knife fights because the distance needed to be less in order to score with the knife. Anyway, just a observation that is neutral. It is very good that people are using great footwork and distance but I see some frustration by some who want to kick and are out of range.
