  1. This concept is lost on alot of people. you get “in the moment” and forget you have legs. I have been there.This is why the progressive resistance training is necessary. In this way I can hard wire the footwork into my defense system.

    I would add that:

    a) Going for the leg against a Salty structure does have risks against a man who will keep his composure and take the long step forward coming after you as you exit; and

    b) the Salty Game can be improved by integrating the Lutang footwork.
